Cub help please on Hydraulic fluid in motor

Hi, I need some cub help please. 1948 cub with hydraulics, hydraulic fluid keeps going low and I think it is going in to the motor. Would a bad o ring seal on the hydraulic pump cause this. If it is working as it should rebuild the pump and it will take care of the hy-tran getting into the engine

yup, depending on which pump it may have a seal or o ring
