I've had that L-54 blade setup on the front of my '48 snow cub for nearly 4 years now. It plows dirt, snow, and anything else you put in front of it. Guess I should switch to the correct set-up. I just can't see how it could work any better than what I'm used to. If Dirt Devil Dave wouldn't have told me I had the wrong stuff, I never would've known.

George Hibbs(IH48) is the owner of the homemade cab now. Maybe I'll do some horse tradin' and get it back  Are you listenin' George :D :D

I wondered about that when I saw it on George's '48 a year ago. I concluded you must have made two of them.

Thanks for the offer Gator, but those were "custom fit" :!:
All of my jeans are on a schedule. When they are new, I can wear them to Church and to the office. When they are about 1-year old, I can wear them to the office only when I'm working in the field, on the tractors, and in the garage. At about 1 1/2 years old, they typically become "ventilated" which means that I cannot wear them to the office any more, so they become dedicated to the garage and tractor wear. See, this way I never run out of fine clothes to wear on the tractor, as I have a seemingly never ending supply..
:D

Well, wouldn't those jeans be the pair that you wear to church... seeing that they are "Holy". (insert comic rimshot here)

I bet the cab works great in the winter, but I was glad to have it in that picture... I was getting a good sunburn when Rick offered to let me drive it in the parade. Better than a big hat! 8)

Thanks for all the info. So far it looks like it is a plow for a Low Boy. Jim T and I are going to check the measurements tomorrow night. Jeff selling it thinks it is for a Low Boy also.

If y'all think it will still work on my Cub then I will get it. I would prefer to use it as a center mount. Anything I need do to make it fit?

Maybe I could talk Mama into getting a Low Boy for the new attachment. :-)

Thanks for all of the help.

The correct police may not like it, but to use it in the center grader position, all you should have to do is make up a small extension to reach the T/C arm. You can see the difference in height in this pic from TM's site.

I bought the Lowboy blade and JimT (and Rick) are helping me make it work. What a great bunch of guys? Guess I need another Cub so I don't have to change implements. Any out there???

The heck with the cab, I want to see more pics of that rig on the back of Rick's Cub! Looks just like what I've had on my mind to use in the better half's riding arena, just ain't managed to put anything together yet. Sure would be nice to get a look at something already built!

I love homemade stuff...

Hi Stretch. The landscape rake is a "Lienbach" 5 footer and mounted on a 3 point hitch, just like this one that Jim Hudson has pictured. Hope you don't mind me snagging your pic Jim :D

Sunday Sailor also has one. I only made 3 with the rear cylinders. Too big a project for my little garage  Jim and Rick did their own paintjobs. Nice painting Jim :D :D

So now that I bought a Lowboy blade for my Cub I have ti get holy jeans and a cab and a 3 point hitch to use it? :-) JimT and I are workng it next weekend. I am excited to get it ready to go and start using it. I am afriad my wife may like it too much and scrape all of the grass from the pasture trying to move the horse manure. :-)
