How about a friendly competition?

Postby Pony Master » Tue Feb 12, 2008 3:16 am

Well I noticed the Northern Illinois boys are wanting to make a showing at Docfest. So I was thinking  How about the southern Illinois boys get together load a couple of trailers. I should be able to haul at least 6, maybe more. With Trent and I we have 5, but we need more southern boys to step up. We could meet somewhere and caravan in there. Let me know your thoughts.

Don't forget the Mo. boys. My wife has given permission, so at least one is coming.

The gauntlet has already been thrown down. With the help of friends eleven of my Cubs were at CubFest 2006.

It'll be okay Bill, i got 25 acres to play with, so lots of room. But Pony Master, keep in mind the last two years there where more people from Ohio, than there was from Illinois. I am hoping for more people from Illinois this year. And more people from Ohio, since its such a short drive for em, anyway..... Afterall i did upgrade my tractor shop for that reason, a large turn out.

Well, I am ready for some friendly competition. And Trent, if that is what it takes for your cubs to make it, I will be by to pick them up! The Southern boys have a lot of heart, I hope a friendly little competition will bring them out of the wood work. I just thought about it, I have access to another decent sized trailer, I can haul some more if anyone's cub needs a ride.

Jeff, if I remember correctly from last year, it would have taken more than a cub with a blade. More like a sherman tank and 150 tons of kitty litter.

George, that is how I figured how I would load ours. Did you load these from the rear and turn them or have to side load them? I also thought about putting them on side by side if we cannot turn them sideways.

Thanks!!

I'm about 2 hours south of Docfest in SW Indiana. I plan on bringing my 55 cub and some of my 1 point implements (not sure which ones yet).
