Way to go David. I sure wish we had that weather here, although it looks like it's on the way. The drought last year killed me. I'm ready this time. Good luck with your crops.

Yes it's a good 2 weeks from being time to plant here, and we're a good distance south of you. Hope the frost doesn't get it. A lot of farmers planted a lot of corn the third and fourth week of March last year, then we had that late freeze and a lot of people had to replant. If it didn't get too cold, the corn sprouted back out (growing point is still below the ground until the corn has some size on it) but several people had to do a lot of replanting.

i'd say its probally a great idea to plant it early. that way you'll miss some of the summer heat and drought.
