Looks like a C60, so yeah, should work. I am assuming the extra shaft in the back will unbolt from the crankshaft so a flywheel can bolt on, but I can't see for sure from the pictures. Someone else who's seen this before will likely chime in!

You might want to consider not purchasing that engine. Looks like it has been siting with the head off for quite some time.

No specifications on bore size provided. Sales documentation says "As is". Which means if it doesn't work out or is beyond rebuildable - you out.

I went and looked at it just a while ago. The engine looks fine, and there is not that much rust on the block. It would have to be a total rebuild which is fine. I would probably use some of the main parts out of my engine. My engine has a small crack by the right front ear.

yes, the rear shaft is bolted on with the same bolts as the flywheel, and would not be a problem. it was probably a hi dome piston engine, by the dipstick length.

but, this motor was dissassembled and not rebuilt. why?
then left out to the weather. why?

probably because.... it's not economical to repair.

what i see there is a block that at a minimum needs a rebore (if it's possible) and a complete valve rework.

before i did that, i'd look for a running engine or long block from one of the suppliers around.

One thing you need to check, is that I believe some of the stationary engines did not have the crank drilled for a pilot bushing.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

I will check that out. I would probably use the crank out of the engine I have now!! This guy at one time had a lot of parts, but now all it is is junk, that he is scrapping out. I spent the better part of a day out there hunting and didnt see much left, he has had a lot of tractors in his life, but all that is left is junk. This engine has been stored, and he has the pistons out of it on e-bay, theyre flat head pistons.

There is a shine in the two center cylinders. I suspect that they had been recently honed. The owner is listed as OKTractorParts. The engine is suspect.

As far as using some of parts from your current engine - perhaps and perhaps not. You won't know until the engine is fully measured.

The engine appears to have the opening for the hydraulic pump.

Why would the seller remove the rods & pistons, to sell them separately, when it could have been sold as a short block? The rods & pistons won't bring much, now the block won't either. If he went to the trouble to to remove the pistons, why not the crank? If you're sure it will serve your needs & you can buy it on the cheap, that's fine, but I'd be pretty careful.

a little firther investigation led me to believe that there was something wrong with the engine is why it has been taken apart. It is also laying out in the dirt!!
