success finally (with pics)

Postby jamieg74 » Tue Apr 08, 2008 7:53 am

I know it is a little early and a little damp to plow already but I am going out of town again for a month and a half and need to get the garden in.

I have never done anything like this. It was a blast!

WOW... that is what I would call a "nice sized garden patch" that you put in there! Might be a little wet, but hopefully the dirt didn't clod up too much and will break up with the disk later on! Must have been some fun seat time! I can't wait to see the cubs pullin' plows at the the Cubfest at the beginning of May! Gonna be fun, and I hope that someone will let me take a swipe at a row...Merlin isn't set up for plowin yet!

What all are ya planting?

Yeah, you could say that was a little wet. It still looks like an aweful lot of fun though. I have yet to sink my plow in the ground, but when it dries up I am going to give it a try.

Yup, just a tad on the wet side. However, it looks like a lot of quality seat time.

The disking is done. It has really dried out a good deal. I will post pics tomorrow, it is dark here now and I have just finished. I am doing the anti-rain dance here trying to get things dry enough to plant by monday.
