How do you determine whether a mower blade is clockwise or counterclock wise?

Re: clockwise?????
WITCH WAY IS IT TRUNNING WHEN YOU ARE SITTING ON THE TRACTOR HAVE SOMEONE STAND BACK AND SEE IF IT TRUNNING LEFT TO RIGHT OR RIGHT TO LEFT THEN YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DETERMIN WITCH WAY IT IS
THAT IS THE WAY I WOULD DO IT THOUGH IT MIGHT NOT BE THE RIGHT WAY

Re: clockwise?????
How about checking to see which side of the blade(s) are sharpened. That will be the leading part of the blade when in action. Dan Billy Ray, I have just read your other post on blades. Are the blades off the mower, and wondering which way to mount them? Dan

Re: clockwise?????
That was the method I used, Mr. England, but I thought maybe someone knew the accepted method. I think I was just making it more complicated than it was but I didn't want to order the wrong blades at today's prices. Thanks,
Billy Ray
