Preacher, thanks this is my first cub too. I've worked on cars, trucks, bikes, boats and now the cub. It has been fun. I'll keep an eye on the level and check for that hydraulic smell. Using 30 wt oil makes sense as that is what the book calls for with the trim and tilt hydraulic system for outboard motor on my boat .
