COMPLETE OVERHAUL 2 YRS. AGO NOW MIGHT MOW AWHILE, THEN CHOKES,SPUTTERS BARELY KEEPS RUNNING... SOMETIMES A LITTLE TAP ON CARB. OR GAS LINE HELPS THEN STALLS AGAIN ??? ANY HELP ??[/b]

Sticking or mis-adjusted carb float or dirt in the fuel tank / fuel line / inlet screen.

: CARB. CONDITION..... TOOK APART, LOOKS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND LIKE NEW.. ALTHOUGH IT IS A REPLACEMENT CARB FOR THE ORIGINAL EQUPT. [ NEVER HAS BEEN AS GOOD AS ORIGINAL THOUGH ]. FOR FLOAT, LOOKS LIKE 2 BALLS ABOUT I" DIAM. CANT TELL IF BUTTERFLY. IS WARPED. SEDIMENT BOWL LOOKS CLEAN AND FUEL IS GOING TO CARB. SHOULD THERE BE A SCREEN IN THE FUEL LINE WHERE IT GOES INTO CARB???? SORRY FOR LONG MESSAGE BUT HOPING SOMETHING WORKS... GRASS WONT STOP GROWING WITH ALL THIS RAIN. THANKS , AND FOR RUDIS REPLY ALSO
