Warning -Name your tractor!

Postby amecks » Wed Jul 21, 2004 9:27 pm

After watching me mow for two hours today, my wife announced that the tractor's name is Fannie Farmall! You have been warned! Al.

Al, there is nothing wrong with Fannie Farmall!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My "51 is named "Red". Not original, but it fits. The kids ask me why I call the tractor a "she". I say because the only things GOD made pretty are girls! :D
Lord, give me wisdom. And if you ain't got none to spare, help me find someone willing to share.

Still haven't found a name for mine, right now its just "The Cub", which sits next to "The C", Which is across from "The 880". etc. I need to be more original. My Cub is definitely a she as she will give you grief with no or very little warning whatsoever and then it usually costs money or time to fix the problem. Usually its something I did wrong but didn't know it...funny how that is :?

My 48 is named Jessie (after Aunt Jessie who I got it from) nad my 49 is named Missy (compliments of Cubbuds daughter). They are both definitely female, because like my wife they are dependable and always do what I need (not necessarily what I want) without complaining.

BD, after someone watching me or you on a cub might think ours should be named the same.

David,

You're all set up for a Cub family, much like Bigdog is.

You can use Kingfish, Calhoun, Saphire, Ruby Begonia, and maybe more.

Dad:

You bring back so many memories. I can remember it just like it was yesterday. Me huddled by the big console radio you used to have, listening to Amos and Andy, you stretched out, almost asleep in that big stuffed blue chair and Mom knitting in her rocker. BD was net even a gleam in my eye.....man, those were the good ole days. Say Hi to Mom for me.

Well, I named mine "Lazarus", because he's in such rough shape most would give him up for dead! But if I had me one that was running, and in keeping with the Amos-n-andy theme, I might name him "Lightnin'"!
