How many FH Plugs do I need to make ?

Postby Marion(57 Loboy) » Sat Apr 02, 2005 3:09 pm

I hope this doesn't turn into more than I can handle....but......

AZ Mike has a need for one- and it's easier to make several while the machine is set up than to have to make one here and one there as the requests pop up from word of cyberspace getting around!

I will be copying the one on my Loboy.

I was also thinking I could make some with the hole exactly in the middle in case there was a need for them that way.

So, bombard me with PM's quick so I can plan ahead to get enough stock in and start to make them. I'll most likely get 1018 crs for material.

The cost per piece will be determined by: A) the price of the 1018; B) the cost of any tooling I may or may not need to buy; and C) the cost of mailing them out.

They will be machined on cnc milling machine, and should come out nice.

Painting will be the new owners resposibility.

I guess the only request I have for you guys here is that you get them if you need one or want a spare or want one of the ones with the hole in the middle.

I just don't want to see my good nature on ebay 50 times when I could have done that myself and make the money.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I am insane!!!  - Marion

Marion -
In the spirit of helping the insane, I'll take one of each to have 'on the shelf'.
If'n I don't I'll regret it - Murphy's law.
I'll try to keep track of what is going on so I can respond as you make progress.
Thanks,
One of the few advantages of growing older is that I finally realized that I haven't made ALL the stupid mistakes! Yet!

It's really a fast hitch rockshaft 'bushing' I suppose, if there's a correct name for it. Excellent pics are at the thread AZ Mike started- click the link below to see.
