Postby kylev » Wed Apr 06, 2005 9:52 pm

Ok one more question . I am looking for a used grill on ebay for my farmall cub 1951. The are refering to "WIll fit 200 230" What does this mean. Is this a model number that I havent figured out on mine yet? How do I track down a grill for a 51? Thanks

They are saying that the grille will fit a Farmall 200 or 230. It will not fit a cub. Your 51 would have a wire mesh grille. If you do an e-bay search using Farmall Cub as the criteria, you will find one or more for sale (reproductions mostly) nearly all the time

Kylev,

The 200 and 230 are larger tractors... the grille won't fit. You're in luck though, there are a lot of suppliers selling reproduction grilles that are very close to the original '51. J.P. salvage would be one source, and they are a sponsor of this site.
