Re: hand crank
There are two 10-32 threaded holes in your floor pan, they may have broken screws in them already so you may need to drill them out and retap, the screw length will be 1/4"

Re: hand crank
I'd like to order some of those clips from TM for my Cub but, first, where are these battery cables supposed to go? Under the floor board?

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: hand crank
This portion of the battery cable and rear light harness, by design, should run along the edge of the instrument panel and pass behind the clutch stop peg. A clip should attach to the open hole in the panel. The clip holds the cables in place and provides some abrasion protection. Here is a picture of the clip. Routing the cable forward of the peg does a pretty good job of keeping it out of harms way without the clip.

Here is what Jim is referring to.
Here it is with the clutch pedal held down for clarity.

Re: hand crank
I ordered a couple of the hand crank clips from TM while ago but I can't find those battery cable loopety clips in their catalog. They weren't shown with the battery cable stuff anyway?

TM hasn't carried them for a while. Stiener has them for about 10 bucks. If you aren't going for originality you can go to a hardware store or possibly a parts house and get one of these.

Crap! I have the wiring on top too because that's where it was when I started. Never occurred to me that those clips were for the crank!
