Does it stumble when advancing from idle only or from any steady speed? Improperly adjusted idle could make it stumble from low idle. Fuel for excels is stored in the metering well below the discharge nozzle. A restriction in the nozzle may not allow it to easliy pick up that available fuel. In steady state operation this may not be noticed. If ever you get back inside the carb I would make sure the nozzle is clear.
