Anyone know Farmall restorer near Emporia VA

Postby Ramon » Wed Apr 27, 2005 7:46 am

I was driving up to Suffolk,VA to pick up some sheep for my farm. I headed north on 85 out of North Carolina and as I was cruising along 58 East, just west of Emporia, I saw on my left hand side 3 gorgeously restored Farmalls. I debated with myself a good 5 minutes on whether to turn back but since I had several livestock pickups scheduled in Virgina, I made the painful decision to keep on trucking. Does anyone know who that restorer is???
Thanks
Ramon

Virginia Mike was telling me about somebody down that way that had a lot of Farmall stuff. I bet he can give us the "birdseye lowdown on this caper"

Different Guy

Glad to have that guys information ,just in case I need it, but it's a different guy. That gentleman is west of Danville, and the place I saw farther east of Danville, East of South Hill and just west of Emporia on 58 (between 85 and 95).

I don't know who that would be. Sounds like a good excuse to take a second mortgage for gas and do a road trip.
I have wanted to tour southside IH dealers for cubs and accessorys for some time. scense the tobbacco buy-out, the older dealers may have a few in the weeds. probally more A's than Cubs though.
Best,
Mike
