REAR WHEEL POSITION

Postby Mag Man » Thu Apr 28, 2005 5:09 am

HI GOOD CUB PEOPLE,
I desided to play with the tire position on my cub becuase with the drawbar up down thingy that you use with the plow would not fit the greatest and forget about using chains with it. I guess they were in as far as they could go. And I went to Rudis Manuals to see the different positions . What do some of you run for wheel spacing?

Jon, I have a standard cub and a lo-boy with the rears set out. I like them that way. I have a project tractor with the wheels set in and the 184 has wide floatation tires.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

The 44" tread spacing is recommended for using the plow. Add 2 extra pounds of air to the right rear tire.

I run both of my cubs wit the wheels set for 44 inch spacing.
If you are not part of the solution,

I don't know what spacing it is but it is one out from the narrowest one. The dish is in and I swapped the tires left to right.

Oh it looks like I need to dish one of my hubs back in. Dang those wheel weights are just to heavy for this old shell. I had a heck of a time getting it back on the other day now it looks like I have to do it again or I will not be able to plow.
