In the first photo the lift arm is bent/modified to put the lift arm back in the center of the rear.

That is not a modification. The early Touch-Control used an external bypass line from the pressure relief valve. Later ones have the bypass internal to the block.

I'd love to find one of these. I may take Tim's suggestion and try two finals with no extension. Petal mods will be a challenage.

I guess they weren't happy with the Cultivison/ row crop/offset design. A lot of work to alter and probably wish they didn't.

In a vineyard the standard cub would cost them one row out of three over the narrow tractor.

Here's one in Louisville that has been narrowed up.

The shape/routing of the bypass line was throwing me. I guess it must have something to do with the relocated clutch pedal clearance. There's a picture of a "normal" one in this thread. http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=71308&p=575584&hilit=early+touch+control#p575584

Yeah, the tube was originally bent into a "U". This one is more of an "S". But all the fittings and the relief valve look like the original. I suppose it was bent for clearance near the clutch pedal.

I think I will do this on a low boy to keep the center of gravity down. I'll need to make a mule drive specific for this and may need to move the mounting arms on the mower

So you want to modify a Lo-Boy into something like a 154 so you can mow with it?

This cub is not sold. owner decided to keep it . But is presently not well.
Had a visit and long talk about the cub, when he said I had first chance.
I'm waiting.
It runs good but needs a clutch or TO bearing. Who ever made the mod did a good job.
The peddle configuration is clutch on left side, brakes (2) on right. (as pictured)
I tried to take it to a show, that's we found about the clutch. Back in the barn.
I did buy some implements.
