EZ, i did use a small-medium sized spray gun and a small compressor. they worked very well together and gettin in all the small spots was not too hard, this was our first paint job on anything.. ever.

just use your wrist to position the gun so that you get a straight on shot of paint onto the surface. i just kinda went with the flow :P if there wasnt enough paint, i went over it again and if there was enough i left it alone. the hardest part was probably finding a spot to start.

Country, yes there is some sort of bond between the cub and the barn.. the barn has been up since around 1940  the house was built around 1917.. so nostalgia is an individual ive met before. it gave me a sense of a simpler time back when life wasnt so complicated, and i enjoyed it.

ill put some new pics in a new thread sometime soon, ive put the headlights/emblems on the hood, fenders on, seat on, grille on, front tires on, and everything else but the radiator/hood/back tires.

the back tires are goin up to our local tire shop to get decalcified and put some new tires on. im pretty sure me and dad are goin up there tomorrow (thursday) thanks for all the wonderful comments, and its nice to know there are other people out there that appreicate some hard work :)

60Lo,

How did you find the painting process?

I mean with all the nooks and crannies of an assembled tractor?

I've never even had a chance to try my new spray gun yet. Do you think that some areas got more paint as you would try to get into some of those recesses? or did it go pretty well?

People on here you can trust, but a lot of people scan these board lookign for just that kind of info. i suggest you delete that post and see if you can set up a folder that guests can see.
