Grill Repair

Postby kinelbor » Sun Jun 12, 2005 7:33 pm

Does anyone have any ideas how to repair the wire type grill on a 48 cub. The bottom of it got pushed in at some time breaking the wires. Thanks

kinelbor: Try pressing the wire of the grill to return it to its original shape. Then bring the two ends of each broken wire together and use a bit of JB-Weld to reconnect the ends. This is time consuming but a good repair, followed by painting, should result in a nice looking grill. Dan
