Meet Minnie....the 3rd Farmall tractor I completed....she surely is a looker....I'm very proud to put her in her first parade this weekend being Memorial Day :beer: .....Teddy gave me the 'word'...this is the last one !! :worthy: I feel honored to be part of this fraternity of farm tractors and you guys, the owners of these marvelous pieces of equipment of yesteryear....I am a better man to know of this very helpful website and some of the guys enrolled....I think we can paraphrase the old...'you meet the nicest people on a Honda'..... the same holds true to you fine gentlemen of the RED...I salute you guys and this Memorial Day; not only will I remember the veterans of days past....I will remember to 'ride high' for the guys of FarmallCub . com... thank you, I am humbled...sincerely, Bob 'Tinkertoy' Cardoza :applause:

Bob, What a gorgeous tractor! You've done some outstanding work with the paint. That chrome muffler sure sets it off along with the aluminum(?) air intake pipe. Really - it looks great! ...and you're right - a great bunch of guys here! Congrats on a job well done! :coffee:

To Dell...thanks firstly...yes, it's 2 step clearcoat, wet sanded and buffed.....I did all the work myself....the kids at the local trade school did the body work on the hood for me....minimal cost....the latest lettering that I got was a real surprise. I thought they were a mylar 'bumper sticker' like application...it turned out to be a transfer application....the lettering was applied to a wax like backing...when applied, the leters are all individual....almost like hand painted quality...very pleased.

Anybody notice the VW in the background has the same red on it??? That's right, Minnie was painted with 2009 VW Beetle Salsa Red....
