Countershaft Bearing Sub??? JD7558

Postby CraigKennedy » Fri Nov 07, 2014 6:45 pm

Hello yall, the past few days I've been looking into rebuilding my tranmission, I got a list of the part numbers, I went to the local john deere and asked if they could find anything, I gave the the part number "Hyatt A1206TS" and he found a Substitute as JD7558. Does anybody know anything about this of had any experience?
Thanks guys, Craig

That Hyatt number comes back as IH # 350857R91. http://www.tmtractor.com/new/tr/553fp.htm

It also crosses as a NAPA # http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Catal ... 0297885383
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Interesting! Don't let the green guys know about this! TM and Case IH are in the low $90 :shock: range. Barnyard's Napa one is $44 :D :shock: and several John Deere places on line have it for in the low $20's :D :D :shock:

By the sizes I'm not sure it would work though, with out shaft modification.

Case IH parts site lists dimensions for 350857R91 as;
CYLINDRICAL ROLLER BEARING,1.4985" ID x 2.48" OD x 0.6299"

The Napa one from Barnyard's link list the size as 1.1811 x 2.4409 x 0.6299

The JD7558 one is 1.1811 x 2.4409 x 0.7874
