Starter Motor

Postby Ian D » Tue Aug 25, 2015 4:52 pm

Hi Folks
Can anyone tell me where I can get a starter motor engaging gear from? (new or second hand/good used)
It is a Paris Rhone starter motor which is off my a Farmall Cub (1955)
Numbers on the starter motor are: D10 33 / 48971
4 of the teeth are chewed and I have renewed the flywheel ring gear as part of my restoration so I need to source a starter motor gear

Thank you

Regards
Ian

Hi Ian,

Our USA Cubs use Delco starters and generators, so there is no book on here with info about your brand of starter that I know of. Unless it is the same starter drive as Delco uses, you will have to do a Google search for it, unless someone else on here knows about it. The IH part number for the drive for the Delco is 67033 H.
Here are pictures of the Delco style starter drive. :)

You may have an easier time importing a complete delco starter from the US.
