Has anybody come up with a pintle hitch solution for their Fast Hitch Cub?
My dump trailer is at the back of a 10' wide, 40' long tarp shed and the best tool for the job of retrieving it is the Cub. Unfortunately it has a pintle ring instead of a ball coupler. Normally I would just drop the ring over the ball for moving around the yard, but things are too close on the Cub for that.
I've got an extra pintle hook laying around, but I'm trying to figure out how to mount it on the fast hitch without using my last factory prong, and/or buying an aftermarket prong from agri supply. I've got a special project in mind for the factory prong.

Re: Pintle hitch
Here you go Matt. My brother actually made one of these for his 140 and I copied it to our Cub.
Every home is a school, what are you teaching?

Re: Pintle hitch
Allis Chalmers WDs have a pintle hitch under the belly. Allis' idea of a fast hitch.
I think it unbolts from the tractor. If it unbolts, you should be able to find one in a tractor salvage yard.
Will check today when I start them up and check the antifreeze. Will also attempt to measure the diameter of the pintle.
Edit: The post portion of the hitch is pinned to a frame under the tractor,1" diameter pin and cotter key. The eye of the hook appears to be close to 2 inches in diameter.
Checked pintle hitch prices on the internet. They are not that expensive. Some even fit in the standard 2" receiver.

I have an excuse. CRS.
