1937 John Deere B~~restore~~

Postby Slim140 » Wed Apr 06, 2016 7:41 am

I restored this ole 1937 John Deere B with factory round spokes (not cut-offs) about 6 years ago. Took everything apart for new gaskets and fresh rings & a valve job.

Beautiful!! I love those old unstyled John Deeres. I've got a '35 short frame B and a '37 A myself.

When I restored this tractor I went to the dollar store and bought all the oven cleaner they had in stock. 19 Cans. I got to the checkout and the lady behind the register says "you must have a big oven". Without hesitation I said "yes ma'am I do, and it is NASTY!".
