Hello all,
My current winter project is a 1940 Farmall A. It is a mag engine with a starter and no other power options. I'm sure it had lights at some point, but they are all missing now. It was purchased 4 houses down my road from a man who's father "restored" it. It had not moved in over ten years, and I towed it home. I am slowly working through it. Engine appears fine from the top and bottom after dropping the pan to reseal, and same with the valve cover. Points, plugs, wires are all replaced. I need a carb rebuilt as the one was cracked and off a stationary engine, which I bought a core for. I'll be contacting people to help with that. Then possibly a battery for the starter.
It has been a fun project that I wish I had more time for, hoping to have it running by parade season in June!
Thanks in advance for all the help!
