Most of you have known me for quite a while, but I thought I would put this for the benefit of the newbies. According to the kids, I am a geezer, since I was born in 1948. I was raised on a farm in the Mo. hills, and drove Farmall H tractors from the time I was able to slide off the seat and hit the brakes, till I left the farm when i got married. Thanks to the work and generosity of some of the members of this forum, Dad's H that he bought used in 1947 has returned to me, in beautiful condition.
I bought my first cub a little over 20 years ago when I needed something sturdier than a riding lawnmower for the ground where I lived. I still own it, plus a second one with several implements. I still live in the Mo. hills, on a small piece of ground that came off our family farm. I am no longer able to work for a living, or to do more than minor maintenance on my tractors, but I really enjoy this forum and the cub get togethers, as well as about any antique tractor gathering. I am a prime example of the saying, "If you can't do it, talk about it."

Ooooohhh - then I'm a geezer, too....
It gets rubbed in when I talk to youngsters who have never even heard of the Beatles

Far as I concerned you 1948 babies aren't even dry behind the ears yet much less geezers. That is reserved for us 1932 babies.

Yes John we can tell you have been around for awhile from the post numbers. They always said that the old geezers are older than dirt. We all will be there some day.
Be Safe. Hope to meet you some day.

1948 was a good year to be born. I will not enter geezerdom until I am driving through Florida with my left turn signal on...or through a DMV.
Best,
Mike

Wow, I didn't think anything could be as old as my snow plow Cub
It's been my pleasure to know you John. When it comes to Cubs, you haven't been setting at your desk making paper airplanes , you've been studying and have all the correct answers.
Your friend,
Rick
