Farmall A 1946 model
I am restoring my Dad's old Farmall A that's been in storage for past 12 years. I got it running after putting in new plugs, wires, points, rotor and distributor cap last week. It's easy to crank and I won't even bother with a battery. Unfortunately the clutch seems to be stuck to the flywheel (possibly after setting up so long). Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Rust will do that. Some people have had luck blocking the pedal down and spryaing brake cleaner on the clutch through the hand hole underneath.

Re: Farmall A 1946 model
Hey John, Thanks for the advice Regarding the 1946 Farmall A with the stuck clutch plate. I blocked the clutch pedal down on Saturday like you said to do and sprayed the brake cleaner in the housing thru the inspection hole while my wife was cranking the engine slowly and let it set a day. When I returned on Monday, I put the tractor in gear and cranked the motor over and it didn't move, so I knew it had released. I unblocked the clutch, started it up and it ran like a top. Joining the club was worth it, just to get this information. Thanks again, Richard
