140 Drawbar

Postby id_birdhntr » Mon Jan 04, 2021 12:35 pm

I have a bent drawbar for my 140 that I plan on using for my No 27V sickle bar mower this summer. I am taking the bar to a machine shop to have it straightened but wanted to know if someone had the cut sheet for the drawbar that shows dimensions so we can make sure it's close to where it needs to be. I could mount the brackets back on to the final drives and then measure across as well but didn't know if someone had that specific dimension handy.

Thanks

Have you taken it to the shop yet?
I picked up a 20 press from harbor freight on sale for $150 that I know would do the job.
Don’t know what they’ll charge you but if you bought the press and did it yourself you’d have the press for other chores down the road.
