Seat options for Super A

Postby browning1 » Mon Nov 06, 2023 9:50 pm

Im trying to figure out how many seat options there was for the Super A. I have seen the pan seat and the deluxe seat but the seat I have on my SA is different than those. What style would my seat be called and where can i get the replacement cushions at.

All Super As came with a pan seat. The deluxe seat would have been a back-fit from a 140. Monroe made an aftermarket replacement. If there were others, I am not aware of them. I don't know where your seat came from, but not IH.

The metal seat pan looks like the one on my TO35 and other '55 and up Masseys....and the seat back cushion as well. The bottom cushion looks like an aftermarket

Thanks, thats what I was thinking it might be a Massey Ferguson seat pan since it favors one I have seen on a 135. I just wanted to be sure in case there was more than two style seats for this tractor.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Thinking of getting one for my Super C. I like the idea of "slide off the back of the tractor" seat back protection.

Ahh yes, the Monroe "Easy Ride". I've had a few of those. Not my favorite as the support gets in the way of leg room.
