SA Trans.
Anyone had Super A Trans. apart, if so can you tell me on the top shaft I think its reverse gear that has the rivet though it how you removed it and what did you use to replace it, I didnt see it listed in the parts book? Thanks Mike

A rivet holds the reverse gear on the upper shaft. I think it is 3/16 x 2 1/4, part number 105088. I don't recall ever removing one. Depending on how big the headed over end is, you can drill or grind it off or knock it off with a chisel. Then knock the rivet out with a punch.

I used a spring steel roll pin in place of the rivet. It has had many hours of use and no problems.
