Hyd pump in trouble.

Postby EZ » Mon Sep 24, 2012 4:50 pm

Bought a seal kit for the 360687R91 hyd. pump on my 130.
Installed the new seal(s).

It was while putting the gear back on the shaft with the new key that I noticed something wrong.
The gear was not fitting snug on the shaft but was kind of floopy.
Upon observation it appears that the gear is 'ovalled' and larger than than life. i.e. the hole is way bigger than the shaft.
Looks like the shaft has also worn some out of round.

Replace shaft and gear?

Find replacement pump? $$$$$$$$$$$$?

Anybody got one laying around looking for a home?

Is the demand so big that it warrants this kind of gouging?
Or does it really cost that much to remanufacture a new pump?

Billy,
I actually found one today.
It's a Wooster.
Reasonably priced at $150, good used c/w gear.
I can handle that.
