Post your request in The Vine ( viewforum.php?f=32 ), along with a description of the part rather than just the part number.

Its not even an IH part number. I can't find anything other than "TIEROD" when I look it up.

It is a Super A tie rod. It is the early style for a non-adjustable axle, odd piece to be looking for.

It is, in fact, an IH part number for a tie rod for a Super A. Check item number 3 on this page...

It came from the case IH parts website,it doesn't say if it is still a good number. My front is a mix of parts one side has what is threaded going into the tire rod end then one side has notches in it. I am sure one is correct I just don't know what side is the right one for a 50 model super A

Depends on which front axle you have. This one is correct for a one-piece (non-adjustable) axle. The notched one is correct for the three-pieced clamped one (adjustable).

The front has holes in the top where I gusse you could pull out the wheels an make it wider. Anyone know about the gear box rebuild kits that are for sale for these tractors good?

For that tie rod part you might want to contact JP Tractor, one of the sponsors at the bottom of the page.
