Another Rims question: Does anyone know if a set of rims from a Cub 154 will bolt onto the centers of a 140 tractor?
Thanks again.

I believe you will find the 154 centers and rims are one piece, welded construction. Not bolted like the other IH tractors. Stan

Re: Cub 154 rims fit 140?
Yes.......I saw that in a photo of a 154. The set I found must have originally come from some other tractor because it has the "4-bolt"- on rims that appear to match what I need! I guess I got lucky finding exactly what I needed!

Re: Cub 154 rims fit 140?
The 4-loop rims from one can be made to work on the other. It's not a perfect fit either way.
I think the lugs on the A/140 4-loop rims are heavier duty and use a larger (5/8") bolt, vs. the Cub loops (1/2").

Re: Cub 154 rims fit 140?
All of the number series cubs (154, 185, 184) utilized single piece wheel/rim setups. The narrow tread rims look a lot like a Farmall Cub, but the wheel/rim part is welded, not bolted like on a Cub.
I believe you'll find the rims from a 154 Lo Boy are also 5-lug instead of the 6-lug rims found on the 140.
However, the International 2444, had high flotation tires like the 154, and used 6-lug rims like an A/140, so those may be what you've found, but I believe those are actually 8-bolt centers instead of 6.....
