Our FFA chapter had this '48 C donated to us. This morning my students got it to run! They rebuilt the carb yesterday, put in some fresh gas; I showed them how to clean points with a business card and it fired up! :{_}: Oil pressure looks good, it runs like a top with no smoke. I think we have some hydraulic issues to sort out, but it run well.

I mentioned in another thread, the students are going to restore it as a fundraiser. We will be giving it (or $1500) away at our town's Farmers Day festival in September 2017. We are raising money to build an animal science barn on campus--we are the only program in our county that doesn't have the facilities to house animals on campus.

Lots of grins around the shop building this morning!
