Need help on identifying this tractor

I think..Indy61 maybe right the photos from link looks very similar...I will look for the engine model number today to see if it matches up with model number. THANKS SO MUCH!

TractorData.com shows the D-188 engine was used on early 3514's and the D-239 was used beginning with tractor serial number 1695. . . .

That could be. My reference on the 3514 could be older than the change. The parts catalog for the D-239 does not list any 514/3514 in the applications. But those lists aren't always up to date either.

Except for the 4 digit serial number, a 2544 seems a pretty good match. (Sometimes, an upgrade to a model is a half-step towards the replacement model.)

The "W" after the serial number probably indicates it has a forward-reverse transmission.

The other stamp number on block is 1226 P..Is that the serial number.. ...

Is there a specific location to look for the engine model

12 26 P is a casting code. It means the engine block was cast on December 26, 1969.

you are looking for a number stamped into the block, on a smooth surface, maybe 1/2" tall, probably rusted over so you cannot see it easily, all the "raised" #s are from casting

The casting part number you gave (3 055 003 R3) indicates a D-239 engine. The date code indicates Dec. 1969.
I would say you have a 1970 International Harvester 3514.

With all the specifics that have been gathered, everything points to it being a 3514, built in 1970. Finding the engine number probably isn't critical at this point. If you want to look any more, I believe it should be on the right side.

That brochure has a year code "Y", which is 1970.

Yes..I will get the repair manual of 3514..Hopefully it is the right..
