Replacing Farmall H Fuel Strainer

I need to replace the fuel strainer on my Farmall H. I need advice on a thread sealant at the tank.

Recommendations appreciated.

I generally use Teflon tape.

I use Permatex High Performance Thread Sealant. Let it cure for, at least, the recommended time.
