on to an H

Postby Phillip W. Lenke » Wed Jul 06, 2011 8:43 pm

Recently aquired a 42 H it is a distallate. My brother and I picked it up approx 2months ago , 4th gear was out. was not planing to go through till winter but since I was into the tranny went through the whole tractor checking all bearings and replacing all seals. just about finished will be ready for paint by months end, at that point it will,be done except sheet metal , Plan to restore with shutters, pony tank etc.
With a small tune up the engine runs excellent. want to trade a H 4 mag for the distributor that came with it.
I will post pictures tomorrow since I have them on my work computer.

My wife fears that i willl be on to a C or an A since those are the only two left of the letter series to complete the fleet. I tell her no, but she still aint buying it.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!
