Brake bands

Hi, my father and I have purchased brake bands to fit to his farmall B as it has no brakes. Has anyone done this task and are there any challenges for this procedure? Any tips are much appreciated.

Here is one tip, while you have the finals removed I would replace all the axle, finals, seed gear seals. And if you really want to be sure I'd remove the axle tubes and replace the seals in the transmission case too. Many times it's these seals that caused the brakes to fail.
