F-14 engine weight

Postby Sailor » Tue Jan 09, 2024 10:21 pm

Does anybody know how much the engine weights in the F-14? The engine stand I used when I rebuilt the Cub's engine is rated at 1000k but just looking at the 14's engine, it looks slightly larger.
Appreciate any inputs... thanks.

The 1939 GL Catalog lists the P-12 Power Unit as 865 pounds. This includes the base. I don't know what other equipment may be included, probably not much.
