Nice work and the bearings adjust to the angles. I had a pedal car when really young and it was the firetruck. My little sister would ride in back.

I made a similar too for making brass chain links for horse harnesses for twin ponies. I had to heat the straight brass rod, bend it into links, weld up the two ends, then twist it. Then file the weld smooth and polish the link.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
