What are these?
So I found these over at the other house. My brother said dad would stick them in the ground and run the string across to define his row, so I'm guessing they are row markers????

Re: What are these?
Probably anchor stakes for the wire used to plant corn in a check-row pattern. The check rows allowed cultivating in two directions. Others with more knowledge/experience will be along and offer more information.
