Seems to me for what he spent on push mowers he could get a Cub with a Woods 59 and save himself a lot of fuel.

Obviously, you don’t do something like this to be practical. As George Willer often said “I did it because I could”. It’d be my luck, one of the center mowers would refuse to start. Several years ago, there was a fella who attended some local shows, with a walk behind tractor with 21 small Briggs and Stratton engines. The starting procedure was quite a process guaranteed to draw a crowd. He rope started one engine, engaged a belt and two more would start, engage a belt and several started, and so forth. It served no purpose, was totally useless but was a real crowd pleaser. I wonder what became of it?

Looks like it mows well. I like the idea of putting on ear protection after starting 13 push mowers.

I just don’t like the idea of starting 13 push mowers. I can’t do starter ropes, anymore.

I am sure the 20"/21" mowers did a much better cutting than than a Woods 59 since they can go over the small ups/downs of the ground compared to a Woods 59

They would do a better job since they could flex and follow the contour.
