Gasket Sequence?

Postby AriesEd68 » Mon Jun 20, 2022 6:32 am

I recently ordered a new carburetor with gaskets for a Cub Cadet 173cc self-propelled mower from 2006 but cannot get it to crank at all. I replaced spark plug too. I was wondering if the gaskets near the carburetor were not put on in proper sequence could be a cause for it not to start? Can’t seem to find a easy diagram.

Gaskets, probably not.

When did the mower last run? Why did you put a new carburetor on the mower?

Suggest complete engine tune up. Start with compression, then ignition, lastly carburation.
I have an excuse. CRS.

First thing I would check is to see if it had spark.
