On-line Manuals for 1250 Cub Cadet

Postby papermaker » Mon Aug 09, 2010 6:27 pm

Are there any sources for on-line manuals for Cub Cadets? I have a Cub Cadet 1250 and I'm trying to find out how the engine side panels connect to the tractor.

Look in here

Is a 1210 close enough? ( I'm a narrow frame guy )

The bottom "lip" hooks inside the top of the frame rails, at the top rear of each panel is a hole for a bolt (was originally a bolt with a wing nut head for lack of a better discription) that screws into the side of the dash pedestal. At the front, there are tabs on the top of each side panel and a spring hooks into each panel (from panel to panel) holding them tight to the grill frame. The spring looks like a short screen door spring with a long end on one end.

Thanks for the information regarding the side panels.Just trying to gather parts before tearing everything apart. The other concern I have is that the hydrostatic drive doesn't stay where you set it. I've read where there is wear in the linkage to the transmission that causes this
