I am posting this here, because this is not an IH Cub Cadet.
I have a Cub Cadet 2135 with a Koehler 13hp Command engine. I believe the ignition module is bad. It starts but dies soon. When it dies, I have no spark. After a several minutes, I can get a weak spark. What I am hoping somebody can tell me is what steps I need to take to get to the ignition module on this thing? Does the engine have to come out? So far, I loosened the firewall and collar connected to the blower opening on the back of the engine cover. Do I need to take the dive shaft off next to remove these pieces and slide the back engine cover off? If anybody has worked on one of these and can shed some light, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks for any responses.

Re: Cub Cadet 2135 Disassembly Help Needed
I am going to answer my own question here for others to benefit from. Short answer is that it is possible to access the ignition module without taking the engine out. I was able to wedge a piece of wood between the cover and block to give me enough space to work. Unfortunately for me, one of the heads of the screws that holds the ignition module in place snapped off, when I was trying to remove it. Now, I will have to take the engine out and hopefully remove the broken screw and find a replacement.
Mice had built a nest in there. It was quite packed full. They also chewed the insulation off the white wire going to the ignition module. I have to fix that also.
