FYI: Forum Maintenance Schedule.

Much like a tractor, this site requires periodic maintenance, updates and upgrades. This is the location where I will keep information on future maintenance of the web site.

The current version of the forum software has reached it's EOL (End Of Life) and support for it will no longer be available after January 2017. The decision has been made that the best course of action is to upgrade to the latest version (it is more secure and has many nice new features, while maintaining a familiar interface, for the members.)

10/1/2016 12AM CST - Sub-Silver Theme deactivated. Prosliver is the default theme in preparation for migration to the latest version of the forum software. COMPLETED.

10/15/2016 TBD CST - Preparatory maintenance of the current forum software. All modifications to the forum will be disabled and removed; they are no longer compatible with the new forum version. Estimated downtime of the forum, 6-12 hours. COMPLETED!
10/31/2016 - Upgrade from current forum software. Estimated downtime of the forum: 4-8 hours.

I will attempt to keep the downtime to the least disruptive periods of time based on typical member usage of the site.

Thanks for all you do! I wish it would take 8 hours of downtime to do the work server upgrades. That's a far less rewarding place!

UPDATE 9/28/2016:

In preparation for the upgrade migration of the forum software, the Sub-Silver forum theme is no longer supported. Currently, there are 36 members that have chosen it as their preference. I will be sending PM's to those members notifying them of the change and the date it will occur. If you currently are using Sub-Silver, I would encourage you to go ahead and make the change in the User Control Panel to the Prosilver theme.
