2019 Deer season
2019 deer season will be here before we know it. I went over Saturday and bush hogged the food plot. I also bush hogged a few more places for the wife and I to bow hunt trying to catch the deer going from bedding to acorns in the early season and lacked about 30 minutes of being done and got bee stung on the back of the head. I just caught another gear and came on to the house. The food plot was covered in rag weeks. This first picture you can just see the top of the blind at the other end of the field. I need to spray it to kill it off now. Plans are to plant buckwheat toward the end of August depending on the weather.

Clean it down short!!---Now is agood time so they get used to it and won't be spooked. ---The ones we have at the farm go into the machine shed if we don't shut the door when we go to the field!

Re: 2019 Deer season
Let the weeds and grass grow. Mow several paths within easy shooting range of the deer stands. Deer will follow the mown paths,
I have an excuse. CRS.

Already did that, got them all leading to the food plot.

Re: 2019 Deer season
Went over Saturday to cut the food plot and it did so good I ran the tillage tool through it. We got 3” of rain last week, been real dry here.

Haven’t seen this guy in a month. Would love to try to stick him today but the wife went instead. Hopefully she can get him.
