Black Walnuts, 2023

Postby Eugene » Mon Oct 02, 2023 5:40 pm

Have 30 to 40 lbs. of this years black walnuts washed, dried, and curing on the front porch in plastic milk crates. Will crack and pick the meats after it gets cold in November or December.

Still have 12 cups of black walnut meats from last year in the freezer.

Made a black walnut cracking machine last winter. Works pretty good. Design was copied off the internet.

Hammons is paying $15.00 per 100 lbs. after hulling.
I have an excuse. CRS.
