cub engine

will a cub loboy 154 engine fit a 53 farmall cub,i believe they are the same engine in both cub.

Yes but.... The crankshaft may need to be drilled to accept the pilot bearing. The 154 has the clutch back by the transmission and there was no need to perform that machining function during manufacturing.

Some are drilled, some not. There was probably a serial # span that were not drilled. When the 184 came along, they were again drilled. If it is drilled, you're good to go.
