Hey all! About 10 years ago at age 19 i purchased a 65 low bow for the land i had just purchased. I used the tractor for 4 years until my laen mowing company took off and i started property maintence with a commercial mower. My low bouly needed some love and attention and being a young and single homeowner, i did not have the money to treat it right so i sold it. 6 years later. I am married, living on a new farm with my wife and a little boy on the way. By the grace of god, i have the opportunity to buy back my old low boy that i happened to find for sale still somewhat local.
The rear main seal is leaking pretty bad on it and from what i understand, the seals you can buy for them do not work. Id love to buy my old tractor back, but if i cannot get the parts it needs im going to have to pass on it. Any info is appreciated! PLEASE HELP ME GET MY OLD TRACTOR RESTORED SO MY SON CAN ENJOY IT!!

Re: 65 low boy rear main
Welcome to the forum and congrats on being able to get your loboy back to be able to enjoy it with your son. TST (forum member) can supply you a new seal and retainer. For somewhat less than $100 for the rear seal and retainer parts and a half day's labor you can be back in business. There's lots of helpful suggestions on this forum. Just post your questions and someone will help you out. Oh, BTW, one more post and you can access/download manuals from this site at the Quick links tab, top left corner of this page. JMHO Stan

You may even be able to get some help installing it at Shallow Creek Farm Cubfest sometime in October.

Absolutely!! You are only about an hour away! You would have plenty of knowledgeable folks there to help you get it done in not time!! And have lots of fun, to boot!!
